Service Description
Course Description — Targeted Case Management: SMI (4 hours live instruction, 2 hrs on-demand video) This course is for Kentucky staff who provide or supervise Targeted Case Management for adults with serious mental illness—new or renewing TCMs, their supervisors, and frontline workers in community mental health centers, SUD programs, hospitals/EDs, shelters/supportive housing, and justice/reentry programs. As for prerequisites: yes, Kentucky requires the department-approved 12-hour TCM Core training (which may be completed before or within the first six months of hire) plus a population-specific module like this 6-hour Adults with SMI course; many employers prefer you take the Core before or alongside this class.
